I Just Got Banned From Medium

In a time of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act.” (attributed to George Orwell.)

The arbitrary censors at the writing platform called Medium just took down my latest post titled, Only Cops and Criminals Will Have Guns. They linked me to their rules concerning controversial and extreme content.

You can still read that blog and all my other blogs here on my website.

Below is my farewell posting on Medium (which may have also been removed by now):

My question is Can anyone explain what is “extreme” or “controversial” about telling the truth? Is it controversial or extreme to point out that when the citizens are disarmed only cops and criminals will have guns?

Is it controversial or extreme to point out that cops are criminals when they enforce unconstitutional laws?

I have not called for violence. My tongue-in-cheek advice to “keep your powder dry” is a call for preparedness — not a call to violence. Everyone knows what the government has planned for us.

But tell me, why hasn’t Caitlyn Johnstone been banned? She’s been writing highly controversial and extreme articles on Medium for years. Is she entitled because she’s an admitted socialist and the rules don’t apply to her?

Whatever.

I am forthwith canceling my $5.00 a month donation to Medium. Who wants to read about someone’s sex life? Who wants to read about making a few measly dollars writing on Medium?

Goodbye Medium.

As Truman Burbank said, “Good morning, and in case I don’t see ya: Good afternoon, good evening, and good night!”
